About The Team
All staff have a valid First Aid Certificate, working with children checks and attend regular staff meetings. Our staff are regularly involved and encouraged to attend further development and training and each of them brings a special and unique touch to NCCC.

Fiona Burchell
Position: Centre Manager
Qualification: Completing Bachelor Early Childhood Education and Care
Personal Hobbies: Spending time with family and friends, cooking and outdoor adventures
Why did you choose Early Childhood Education and Care:
I chose the Early Childhood Education and Care career path as I have a passion for guiding and teaching our future generation whilst becoming the best educator I can be
What is your favourite part about coming to work at Narellan Child Care Centre?
I love the close knit family we have at Narellan Child Care Centre, I love seeing the children’s smiles first thing in the morning ready for a day full of adventures. I love seeing how determined and persistent the children are when they are faced with challenges and the smiles on their faces when they have overcome the challenge or learnt something new. I love the special bond I have with each child and their family.
Tiarna Duncan
Position: Room Leader and Educational Leader
Qualification: Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
Personal Hobbies: Online shopping, Camping and 4WD, Marvel superheros, photography
Why did you choose Early Childhood Education and Care:
I have always had a passion for educating children and giving them the stepping stones they need to succeed in life. Early childhood is where that starts, and nothing give me the most joy than seeing children graduate from preschool and head on to big school with confidence in themselves, knowing that i helped them get there.
What is your favourite part about coming to work at Narellan Child Care Centre?
It's a small, family centre where every child, family and staff member are made to feel loved and important
Ashley Maya
Position: Educator
Qualification: Certificate 3 Studying Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
Personal Hobbies: Beach, sport, hanging with friends, playing PlayStation with friends.
Why did you choose Early Childhood Education and Care:
Enjoy working in child care because I love watching the children grow and being a part of their development. I love making the children happy and seeing them having a good time at NCCC, as it makes me happy and proud. I love being there for the children at all times, especially if they need a cuddle.
What is your favourite part about coming to work at Narellan Child Care Centre?
My favourite part of child care is watching the children improve on their skills e.g saying more words, doing something they couldn't quite do before, etc.
Lauren Collins
Position: Room Assistant
Qualification: Trainee Studying Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education and Care
Personal Hobbies:
Dancing, Shopping and hanging out with family.
Why did you choose Early Childhood Education and Care:
I wanted to work in the childcare industry because I have always loved being a good role model to younger children. Having a good bond with the children and their families is something really special. Being in this industry brings happiness to my life.
What is your favourite part about coming to work at Narellan Child Care Centre?
I love seeing the children's happy faces everyday because they put a smile on my face.
